Bipolar Education and Skills Training:
BHI has developed a 10-module pychoeducation program for members to give themn the skills necessary to self-monitor and self-manage their Bipolar disorder. The modules include Review of Bipolar disorder and Normal Mood, Relapse Prevention, Understanding Medications, Creating Balance, Stress Management, Thinking Skills, which help to combat depression and mania, Social Support, Healthy Relationships, Problem-solving, and Wellness and Recovery. The BEST program (Bipolar Education and Skills Training) is available to adults with Bipolar disorder. Check with your Community Mental Health Center to find out if a BEST class is available.
