    The Consumer Quality Advisory Committee-

Over the years, BHI recognized the wealth of experience and knowledge within our consumer community. BHI has tapped into this expertise in 2004 by forming new Consumer Quality Improvement Committee to provide a venue for review, discussion and development of the QI program. The goals of the CAB QI committee are to review and give input into the QI plan, review report card data and advise the QI director in implementing reports and performance improvement projects that are understandable and meaningful to consumers

      Consumer Advisory Board

The BHI Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) provides a meaningful context for consumer and family member input. The BHI CAB is composed of adult consumers and the family members of adult consumers. The meetings are open to all BHI consumers and their family members. CAB meetings are rotated throughout areas served by BHI in order to encourage participation and representation throughout the East Metro Denver Area. Individuals do not need to be appointed as formal members to meaningfully participate in CAB. All attendees of a particular meeting, except for BHI staff, vote on issues and proposals presented to CAB.
